Since 2002, Twin Forks Nursery has been providing the East End with a wide variety of trees, flowers and vegetables that are particularly suited to our local environment and the select preferences of our unique community.
Mark was motivated to establish the nursery by his awareness of the need to consistently provide excellent diversity and quality of plantings to the area.
The nursery includes a substantial inventory of perennials, annuals, and flowering shrubs. We developed a nice selection of natives in addition to more basic choices as well as durable flowers that can serve as the foundation of any garden.
We’ve been involved in a number of large flower meadows where we grow summer flowers or prairie grasses from seed. Various ground covers are also available, as well as larger ornamental grasses.
Seeing a need for annual vegetables that can last through the entire summer––we grow organic vegetables that can be included in the garden later in the season when they are usually not available.
We have focused on growing taller––up to 30 ft.––evergreens for tree screens as well as common choices that are integrated into the overall landscape. We have ornamental and fruit-producing trees and have been able to install sizeable orchards.
All materials are grown in enriched local farm soil with organic nutrients and fertilizers.
We are happy to help with advice and options for your plant needs, including project design, delivery service and installations.
